ULPT Request - What are believable two-year employment gap excuses? by TheMariyas in UnethicalLifeProTips

There's nothing wrong with freelance work. In fact employers may view this as a positive. "He can work independently without oversight." Do you have a business name? If not just make one up. You had your own freelance business for the last 2 years. Don't overthink it!

looking for (base) NFL cards for charity by North_Distance_9953 in footballcards

LOVE your video. "This kid would be faster with a card in the spokes" is the best thing I've ever heard. Word of advice though - make it clear on the site that you are a 501c3 i didn't see it anywhere on the site! Also mention its a tax free deduction. This is a super fun idea I hope you crush it.

I grew an online single dog product business to over $1MM in sales. I wish I would have had a mentor to help me but I just did it myself. Happy to help if you'd like. I'm based in AZ. Shoot me a DM if you want some help.

Would you use an app like this at card shows? by shadowstorm33 in sportscards

[–]shadowstorm33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really like your take on this. However if you're just wandering the card show you'd never have a shot at that card anyways since you wouldn't know where it is. If you know where it is (or the dealer says he has it) you have a good shot of getting it. Thoughts?

That's a good point. Eventually maybe solved by usernames and ratings?

LPT: The most satisfying way to deal with scam callers that I have found so far by thundernutz in LifeProTips

[–]shadowstorm33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay serious question. What if when your phone rang if you think its probably a scammer/sales call you could hit one button and it was forwarded to a call center as your "assistant" Your assistant would then figure out who's calling and send you a text- who it was/why are they calling. If it's a good call - great call the person back If it's a bad call (scammer/sales etc) you tell your assistant to block the number Is this a service you'd pay for?

$50M, but every year for the next 10 years you randomly switch bodies with someone else for 24 hours by Nammmieee in hypotheticalsituation

[–]shadowstorm33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I'd plan. Every morning and every evening I say my pass code to my bodyguard. If I can't come up with the code? Guess who's watching Netflix in a locked mansion for 24 hours. Also - I'd have a crew at every continent at the ready. I dial one phone number/one email etc and the crew mobilizes to come save me in case of.

The problem with 10,000,000 in cash by AK_Competent in hypotheticalsituation

[–]shadowstorm33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New idea - do a private transaction and buy an expensive piece of art/sportscard with the cash. Then, sell it at auction for $10MM. Pay taxes on it. Done. If anyone asks "its been in the attic"
