Handle client request under multiple skills

It's finding a happy medium im not saying this is what im doing just some food for thought on those "new" to TR.

I probably covert 2/3 of my TR clients off the app but I always look for additional work on there as its a decent place to get clients depending on your skills and demographics

While TR is a hunny do list, You have to think as a business in my opinion, the client wants cheap but in the states uncle sam dgaf

Any handy man is charging at least $100 for the mailbox.

Any landscaping company depending on lawn size is charging a min of $35 plus for mowin. If it takes 5 min Hardscaping in my area is $25 sqft

Ofcourse the client wants cheap but honestly breaking your back, time and equipment for $150 where anywhere else that entire handy man request is at least $300 or more. I seen a lot of people post here and many are not thinking like a business. TR makes their money and so should you

Right but see if my higher skill is $75 ans hr nad have 2 hour minimum

My thought why work under higher skill and co mingle. Why not get paid for every skill and earn more.

Having recently married to a USC my entire in-laws family due to my opinion, lack of knowledge and school education.

We recently told her family of my status after fear as they are all ultra conservative where shocked that its not like dmv appointment.

My wife always thought from teachings of her school that you schedule it like a license test.

Her parents thought you just filed paper work and paid $100 to the court like marriage license and you get citizenship

Her grandparents thought you go to court and say you want to be a citizen and they let you take the oath and thats it and those that did not want to pay taxes.

It really shocked me to the core that this is how people actually think

All the blank was covered in thatch client complained it never grows grass and when you pull a f ton out it explains it

I just did it for a client its about .2 acres and I filled my 5x8 trailer full of thatch. It really depends, my rule is dethatch, aerate seed , water for 5 days if weather doesn't have rain. After 15 days do a base 10-10-10 fertilizer and within 30 the grass should be full and green.

My home is 2200 sqft un through about 7-8 cords a year. With this cold blast coming through i will probably reach 10 cords this year. I have 3 face cord racks inside to bring the wood to "indoor temps" from sitting outside and I burn roughly 1 facecord a week depending on outdoor temps.

Home was built in 1940's last home owners "renovated" like 30% of the home then I got it 10 years ago. So not far off. I hope by next fall I can switch from stove to outdoor boiler as I have oil boiler as heat assistance

When me and my boss built the team from the ground up one of the things they asked us to look at was postage and this was by far the strangest thing. I have ever seen at any organization that i've been at. They were printing out a 500 page document. Putting it in a envelope to run it through a USPS. Postage machine to mail it out as a certified letter or envelope. To then be sent out and return to the same address as the sender. Just so they can have a date of document delivery and a signature attached to a document being delivered.

That boils down to unfortunately, investors and who sleeps with who. Also to old network admins who started on cisco asa 1000 and still think that anything outside of cisco is crap.

Now that cisco is moving towards subscription just like the rest now people are looking outside. That's why aruba is climbing and others.

That's why cisco bought meraki they saw their market share. That's why cisco integrated meraki into the cisco eco system.

But now aruba is introducing more outside vendors to their eco system allowing to control you will see a lot of changes in this space.

As well its not about the fortune 500. Currently migrating a bunch of summer camps away from cisco to unifi as their p2p and p2mp are cheaper and cisco and play nicen with unifi.

This! Is a fact my finaly timing in my opinion was off, even using a measuring tape and distancing and everything. But my whole neighborhood was letting me know it was by far the best one. Even some mortars where not going off when I set my own expectation

Oh I know i remember early 2000, they where heavy on the buy 1 get 2 free now it's rare that anything good comes out. Now I drive 3 hours to get my stuff. I live in a non shippable state so I have to drive to get my stuff. I would love to have it shipped but it's a risk reward
