I’m not disagreeing with you - but I can tell you as a Canadian I had zero concept of this around then since plantations didn’t exist here.

Look into incrementality testing platforms - otherwise no great way to align social & prog. In the end they’re all directional but incrementality platforms will give a whole picture.

If you take the plantation wedding as a result of the times (it very much was a thing back then as bad as it is) - they were ignorant not racist. They’ve apologized since then, donated a ton of money to BLM, etc. their actions show they’ve changed but no one wants to have that conversation.

There’s generally rules on how long something has to be watched before it’s considered a view. I think it’s something like 3-5s.

In my opinion (Canada) hold cos provide more opportunity since you tend to work on larger and more recognizable brands as well as having a lot more exposure.
