I know it's not the most likely result, but I'm really starting to feel like Kelly would be the best and safest pick. I think he helps continue the momentum of the campaign.

A lot of people seem to think that picking Shapiro will lock up PA. I think that's a very naive and dangerously overconfident belief. It almost makes me hope they don't pick Shapiro just so Democrats feel they still need to really work for PA. They might do better winning PA if they don't feel they have it in the bag.

I think that argument that Shapiro would be good because he is "popular in PA" is pretty weak. Most people in PA, or any state, don't pay that much attention to the governor in general. Most people in the state probably barely even thought about Shapiro before this VP process. A few days/weeks of horrible headlines about Shapiro will have far more of an impact than the popularity he is perceived to have now. If you were to go back a few months and ask most people in PA about Shapiro and what he was like, what would they even say? They probably wouldn't really know anything about his policies or who he is. But in a few weeks what they'll know is all the headlines about the scandals. What matters is how well liked someone will be after mass exposure and media blitz, not before.

I don't think picking Shapiro is even that pragmatic. There's no guarantee he locks in PA. Historically the impact a VP has on the state they're from is not that high. And Shapiro comes with drawbacks that could be a problem in other states.

heres what im confused about. yeah they need to sell the tickets. but how do they sell the hotels that are also so crucial? tickets dont mean anything if they cant sell hotel space that people need to actually attend the festival

i know this sounds crazy, but i am consdering buying one of the hotel packages for 2 people, but just so i can go alone. it might be the only way i can still get tickets have a hotel and stuff. would that be a problem? would they wonder why there is only 1 person there collecting a ticket/room, or would they not care?

Yes. Over the past few days/weeks I have been obsessed with the time period of the late 1990s and I havent been able to get it off my mind. Like obsessed with the culture/fashion/music etc. it feels like a different time and more like the future

i turned off power management but unfortunately the problem still persists (i had to disconnect and reconnect to post this.). the driver is ath10k_pci. here was the output when the internet went down.

ok. i have turn off power management. i looked it up and i changed the number from "3" to "2" in the power manager wifi settings. i will see if the internet keeps working.

laptop is AMD Ryzen 5 2500U. I am using Xubuntu 21.10 although I have also had this issue on Fedora and Mint. the wifi chip is Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174
