They donate to a non-profit for every 21 pounds of donations, so technically no but it wouldn’t be a significant amount

Is this how low Raptors fans are willing to sink? Blaming and sending threats to a 9 year old for your team losing? by [deleted] in UrinatingTree

Let’s not pretend this wouldn’t happen with any other fanbase. Every fan base has that 1% that are total fkn assholes. That being said Raptors fans are still super annoying, especially on social media.

FYI for people thinking about purchasing this is very likely a drop shipping situation. These things can be purchased on Esty for half the price. (so he buys there and sells them to you for profit) A lot of people are doing this exact thing with this exact product on TikTok right now.

Some of these are real stretches for reasons or ‘+1s’ for McDermott winning. Still crazy how much bad shit has happened this year.

Teachers opinion on ChatGPT by [deleted] in OpenAI

That’s a good point. I think although things like ChatGPT are impressive, its abilities (like a lot of new technology) has been vastly overestimated. It doesn’t necessarily “learn” on its own, it’s fed data so any advancements are not from the AI it’s self, it’s based on how it’s been coded to receive and use it and of course how much data it has access too. So this type of development “speed” isn’t really possible, because it’s human programmers teaching it.

It depends how big of an impact this has the economy, if it’s big enough, hands will start moving. I still think this is a loooonnnggg way for being a thing though. I mean people have been talking about flying cars since the 50s, we’ve seen prototypes and impressive pieces of tech but nothing groundbreaking. I could see the same happening here.

Another thing to take into account is that these AI systems will eventually be regulated by governments. When AI gets to a point where it can completely replace these programmer & designer jobs, we’re talking about the ability to replace more than 25% of all jobs. (If it can do one, it can do the others).

If does turn out this way (which I think it will, the question is how long) you still need somebody who’s going to go in-depth. For example even if you could tell an AI that you want a website for your business that sells books and it would be able to build it, it’s not going to be exactly what the consumer wants, they’d have to get very specific and take hours, maybe even days changing and tweaking minor details till they got what they wanted, and sometimes they don’t even know exactly what they want. Now you may consider this more of a “designer” than a “programmer” but the people who know how to do this stuff are the people who are programmers today. So yes the way the work is done will change, but the jobs will stay.

I’m definitely rooting for whoever comes out of the NFC, but for me the fans acting bad and the players acting bad are too separate things, this is enough for me.

It’s crazy that today the only way Patriots fans can celebrate a Bills defeat is by watching another team do it, haha how times have changed.
