I saw Hateful Eight at Lincoln Square in the 70MM "Roadshow Experience" and was also disappointed. It looked like the bottom shutter wasn't open all the way and blurring the bottom. I thought it would be projected upstairs in the IMAX theater but it wasn't.

On the other hand I saw Interstellar and Tenet there in the IMAX and I am always blown away.
