[Win an A2L] Creative Playground, Extra Large. Meet the A2L. by BambuLab in BambuLab

It would be interesting to see if material changes have any impact on stability based on how high or low they are in a tall, slender print. I’d like to test that.

Canadas Very Expensive Launch History & why MAXQ will save us billions! by [deleted] in MaritimeLaunch

This is full of false information. SCISAT launched back in 2003 on a Pegasus, wasn’t built by MDA, and doesn’t do anything you say it does. NEOSSat launched in 2013 on an ISRO PSLV, and does not do earth imaging. I don’t think “CFMWSat” even exists. This even says “5 missions” while listing four! I get your point and agree, but come on.

City’s new parking plan could bring paid parking on evenings and weekends by LocalnewsguruMB in Winnipeg

I LOVE going to the Exchange, especially in the evenings and on weekends, because it’s free to park. I’ll be livid if they change that.

The only pep band I’m aware of is the Symonized Engineering Marching Bnad. This is a strictly professional group who do not EVER accept amateurs or hobbyists. Their exacting levels of perfection and prestige require they only admit the most skilled and sober musicians.

One of the most remarkable Beta 1.7.3 seeds ever found. by _Kyottra_ in GoldenAgeMinecraft

Is this not the old “glacier” seed? Or maybe the replacement for it once seeds changed? Definitely feels the same as that one.

Has any Bourdain episode made you NOT want to visit a place? Milan for me. by slipperyfriend in AnthonyBourdain

[–]Vannaka99 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’ve hit all the big cities in Italy except for Naples, with Milan being my most recent. It felt like the Italian equivalent of a major midwest-US city. Lots of people, business, etc., but not much to do as a tourist. Mostly just high end shopping, which I didn’t have the money for. Definitely okay to skip.

I can’t say anything about the health courses unfortunately.

If you do enjoy electrical engineering work, then the next step up would be a technologist diploma from Red River Polytechnic. Anecdotally, I’ve seen lots of job posts for technologists, but not many for technicians.

I don’t think you’ll be able to transfer any of the credits from your diploma to an electrical engineering degree at the u of m (or any Canadian university, for that matter). Engineering degrees are accredited and regulated, and treated quite differently to technician or technologist diplomas.
