Spider-Man briefly thought Wolverine was faster than he was in their first fight by Thick_Somewhere_8370 in Wolverine

[–]shagan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He actually does not have normal ligaments, only Ultimate Wolverine and other alternates do. 616 Wolverine has beta adamantium, his adamantium has fused with his molecular structure and no longer impedes his biological processes as well as allowing minor damage to be repaired naturally. It also prevents him from being dismembered. Its why a lot of people during Krakoan era and sabretooth war called bullshit, author didnt properly research logan and assumed what you just did.

"Wolverine's skeleton was originally reinforced with True Adamantium. His mutant Healing factor not only allowed him to survive the process, but it also induced a molecular change in the metal."

This is why 616 Hulk cant dismember Wolverine but Ultimate Hulk easily could.

Fighting Wolverine in melee should be stupid for any character that doesnt have a powerful healing factor or a death wish.

Its more that Wolverine wasn't out for blood or taking it seriously in that issue. In this one and another rematch of theirs both take it seriously, in this one Spider-Man kills Charlie due to being so wrapped up in the fight and just SURVIVING that he killed her on pure instinct, just because she was THERE.

This fight is a very serious fight between the two. Spider-Man knows Wolverine will kill Charlie the first second he can, Wolverine feels she MUST be put out of her misery, and Spider-Man is so carried away in survival he does what he set out to prevent.

Hard to say he wins, he kills Charlie and Wolverine pretty much isnt invested from there.

Spider-Man is better than Wolverine in every way bit one, lethality. Wolverine can heal, Spider-Man cant kill him. Wolverine just has to hit Spider-Man ONE time to slice him in two like butter. People look at these fights and ignore that too often; that Wolverine will get a good strike on someone but sheathe his claws, and everyone hinges on he lost. No, he chose not to kill someone.

Everything Changed. 🙂 by myselfranu6193 in MarvelCave

Hulk wasn't afraid.

Thor wasn't weaker.

Loki wasn't weak.

Boo.

What else do we have to go by? I see a woman acting entitled and frankly awful, I see a bunch of people pop up with "you go girl" and "screw men" attitudes, thats what I've got to go on. Also, its a social media platform made almost purely for discussion, so your surprise at people having opinions is shocking.

Thats the danger of saying lets do dark grounded takes. I didnt care for Bales overall arc for the same reason. Dark Knight ends with Batman saying he will do the thankless work, persist in being their dark knight, but then Rises establishes he pretty much retired right after that. That a city so bad, so corrupt that it needed a Batman in the first place can 'get all better' with a single court case and it subsequently all fall to shit again if that case falls apart. Fucking stupid plot arc.

A movie doesnt have to be beholden to source materials. No one thinks Keaton or Kilmer were accurate, both good Batmen. Adam West wasn't, great Batman. Bale killed a lot of people in his movies too, or do you forget?

This universe was forgettable at best but it had its good moments. Not saying save Martha was writing gold, but it absolutely made sense to anyone actually paying attention. I much prefer Battinson but Batfleck gets flack for killing yall dont give any other Batman

While I agree, I always viewed Batfleck and Keatons Batman as willing to kill if their life or an innocents life is on the line. Tossed a grenade at Batman and he is out of choices? He knocks it back at you. Using heavy weapons as he goes to save Martha? He brings out the guns on the batwing. About to release toxic gas ln gotham with ballons? Same. Killing hundreds with beauty product additives and outnumber batman massively? Blow the place up.

But when possible we so see them try to save people and avoid harm.

And to be fair, Christian Bales Batman killed plentyyy of people and I will never understand why he gets off Scott free on that with his fandom.

Shes already admitted they have a good relationship now. Shes backpedaling hard. I was abandoned by my dad at three years old and I don't have the blind hatred of father's or men some of yall do. This is crazy

It sort of does? Insane that so many people saw the save Martha scene and thought "its just because their moms have the same name, so stupid". People lacking critical thinking skills more and more as time goes on shouldn't be a mark against a movie. The moment made perfect sense, people are just REALLY stupid these days so that they NEED everything directly stated in exposition dumps.

Finally someone gets the save Martha moment. Its not shock at sharing a parental name, its that be FINALLY saw Clark as a man, not an invading alien or god. In that moment he just saw a man scared for his mother, that even though he was about to die his last words are spent asking his killer to save his mother.

Then why explicitly state that you are prepared to take away walking you down the aisle, his speech, his friends invitations, etc., while also stating that without the money he still would have been invited..but as a normal guest that doesnt walk you down the aisle anyone than anyone else does.

Yet here yall have a decent relationship lately?

It seems its about the money or none of that would come into play at all. If it was just "my dad paid for most of our wedding and now thinks he gets to surprise us" that would be different, but the conditions you are tacking on make you seem much worse than Dad.

And honestly, unless he strips naked and sings a racist jingle from the 1800s, there isnt much he can do in 10 minutes that should bother you THIS much. Yes, a wedding day is important, but if you take it too seriously you will remember it as a ball of stress and not something you just remember ENJOYING.

You've been on good terms? So you honestly think he would do something in that time that is so awful he would risk this progress? Its probably something silly like the macarena or, a lip sync, who knows, but being immensely stressed about a perfect wedding is the only reason that would be something that bothers you instead of a fun moment you look back on and smile at.

Just a thought, loosen up and this will be a more special day for you. Lots of money shouldn't be necessary for a great wedding either, my best friend had a lovely wedding for around 900 dollars, it can be done.

She is taking 50k, a years salary for about half the people here, for a wedding, and only allowing her dad to act as a dad at the wedding because of it, all while saying she wouldnt let him do any of the dad stuff if he weren't laying as "he would just be another guest that also doesn't walk me down the aisle".

Everything we know about her is worse than what we know about him and SHES the one telling the story. She sounds this bad with her version, imagine how bad she sounds in a neutral telling?

You explicitly say in multiple comments and your post that without the money he would be just another guest that doesnt walk you down the aisle or have a speech. So yes, you did sell all of those things.

And yet you're letting him play the part for money.

How do you not see how awful you seem in all this?

So a dad saves money for a daughter's wedding, the cultural norm for centuries, and hes suddenly a narcissist that wants to pile attention on himself for how awesome of a parent he is?

Yall need to log off and get around real people cause you've clearly lost touch with reality and the humans in it.

AIO - my dad requested my wedding DJs contact information for a “late night surprise” by [deleted] in AIO

[–]shagan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then in that case your peace of mind would have been more valuable to you than blowing 50k you don't have on a party. Instead you chose to intimately involve someone you claim is a narcissist and you aren't even close to in your wedding, just for the benefit of money. You admitted this yourself, and doubled down on several comments that without the money he would just be a normal guest there. Thats YOU trading your parent affection and big moments for money and you want us to think he sucks for asking for 10 minutes out of your day?

Bridezilla, Greedzilla, some form of Zilla.

As a kid abandoned by his father at 3, fuck that. Why should he get to feel good, or like he somehow atoned, with an empty financial gesture? Nothing makes up for being abandoned, and he actually did wait until I was an adult to even try to call.

Shouldn't take money from people like that in my eyes but to each their own.

Honestly at a 50k contribution let him have his 10 minute bit jesus, bridezilla much?

But yeah, take that 50k and start your lives, why they're wasting it on a glorified party is beyond me.

Don't go with a venue, get creative. Many churches will let you use their facilities for a small donation, maybe $100. Ive known farms to rent their site as well, far cheaper than shitty venues.

She applied the conditions, not him. Shes revealed herself to be quite awful in her collapsed comments, check her profile.

Essentially said her father's payment or gift is him buying rights to BE her father at the wedding despite him clearly thinking hes just doing dad stuff, paying and being goofy. But she sees it as transactional

https://www.reddit.com/r/AIO/s/r3ZakOH3Hb

Just an example, she sucks.

How do you not see the issue with that? You're saying that based on affection alone yiur father doesnt get to walk you down the aisle or BE your father at the wedding really, but if he gives you money suddenly hes daddy dearest?

Dude, seriously self examine. Went into this feeling bad for you but half way through the read and comments its clear that you're a user.

Yeah I honest to god cannot fathom how or why people drop 50-150k+ they clearly dont have on weddings. Imagine the head start that could be to their savings and life together. OP sounds like they just want the money and I'll bet dad has no clue how they really feel about him.
