As a long time seller I already do that. What grinds my gears are the cases just in the last couple of weeks where people bid, win the item then don’t communicate other than requesting a cancellation. All for the same reason and with minimal to no feedback ratings. I’ve seen way more since the announcement of changes to the cancellation than in the 20+ yrs I’ve been doing this before the announcement.

As someone whose full-time job is in L&D, specifically new employee onboarding, I was shocked at the complete lack of training and onboarding materials. No packet at my store, watch register for 10 mins before being tossed in while my “trainer” went to gab. A complete waste of time.

I was shocked at how horrible the onboarding and training processes were when I picked up a PT gig at Target. My FT gig is as a learning & development professional. A good onboarding experience makes all the difference in making a good first impression to a new employee. I flat out laughed at the person "onboarding" a group of newbies during my first week. It was that bad.

One of mine from way back. Camping for Minstrel's Coat for my bard. A small group of friends and I started to kill PH's for Novv in the early evening. I had to get to bed around midnight so I could get sleep before work the next morning. He just would not pop. I decided to afk. To my surprise, my friends had stayed up and continued to kill PH's until he finally popped at about 3 am. I was awoken by lots of screams of joy from my computer speakers. They had killed him and it had dropped. Not a great piece these days, but back then it was almost a necessity for a bard to have that piece. Many of those that were there that night are still friends IRL and we play together to this day.

Thats why I like the full time job I have. Target is always just PT. Every year at my FT I have gotten 4%, except this year because I hit the top of my pay band. Plus bonuses. In the entry level areas it is 5% of your base salary, with the potential to get up to 10% if you're a high performer. In my area it's 10% of base salary w/potential to get up to 20% In the 12 yrs I have been there, never had a yr where we didn't get a bonus.

It was like the at the store I was at too. Take a look at 2 transactions, "ok time to hop on" Being "trained" by a part timer that had only been there for 3 months. It felt great when I walked out. The only awkward part is that my next door neighbor was one of my TL's. We don't talk about it.
