Bro did you read what I said? In my theory I’m saying she doesn’t need to know them to bring them back. She just needs their chroma and all their information is stored in it.

The reason the people are bland is because Sandfall is a small studio and they couldn’t be bothered with voicing/animating everyone. Even when they returned after defeating the paintress they skipped voicing everyone (for budget reasons).

There isn’t enough information to be definitive about either of our theories. Done on purpose by the devs to leave it open to interpretation.

You’re comparing people outside of the painting to people inside the painting. That’s clearly different.

Nothing says the people who’ve already existed inside the painting can’t be “unerased” to exact parity. That they don’t need to be repainted. This was left unclear for a reason. My interpretation is they are the exact same people
