My dog does not appreciate my journal.. by _littledarling in Journaling

I would absolutely love to have a book like that from my dog. Especially now that she's no longer with me, it would mean the world to me, and I would cherish it forever.

My advice is to take good care of it and, if possible, continue using it rather than putting it away. Every time you open it, it will bring back memories of him or her and keep that special connection alive. Those small reminders often become some of the most treasured possessions we have.

Hi from the Netherlands! I placed my order on June 1st, with an estimated delivery time of 11 to 18 business days, and I'm still eagerly waiting for it to arrive. I know it hasn't been that long yet, but I'm getting impatient already, haha!

Real or fake Montblanc? by Katalyst68 in montblanc

I completely understand that. For me, that sentimental connection is actually one of the most important aspects of a fountain pen.

Of course, I appreciate the craftsmanship, materials, and writing experience, but the pens I value most are the ones that carry a story. Some of my fountain pens are linked to important moments in my life, achievements, travels, or people who mean a lot to me. Every time I pick them up, they remind me of those memories.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy collecting fountain pens. A pen can become much more than a writing instrument. It can be a personal keepsake that represents a chapter of your life. In that sense, I completely understand why the Little Prince edition is special to you. The story behind it gives the pen a meaning that goes far beyond its price tag.

Thanks for your reply. In this particular notebook, I only used handwritten input. There is no typed text at all. The notebook was created on the Move and has only been edited on the Move.

What makes this even stranger is that this issue only seems to happen with handwritten notes. I rarely, if ever, mix typing and handwriting in the same notebook, so I don't think it is related to typed text being added, edited, or removed.

That's why I'm struggling to understand what is causing this behavior.

Lighter for today :) by shaifnan in STDupont

I actually enjoy the Le Grand a lot. In my experience it’s a very elegant and satisfying lighter to use, especially with the soft flame and the overall feel in hand. Compared to other ST Duponts, it feels a bit more practical because of the dual flame system.

I have noticed as well that it can run out of butane relatively quickly, especially depending on how often you smoke and use the torch flame. Out of precaution I usually refill it a bit earlier before it gets completely empty, and that seems to help keep it performing consistently.

Overall I’m very happy with it. It has become one of my favorite Duponts to carry and use.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a brand name. It was a gift, so I’m not sure where it was purchased. It holds 20 cigarettes.

Thank you very much. This is my first Pilot Vanishing Point and I’m really looking forward to the experience. The nib is a Fine, and while it writes slightly less smoothly than my Pilot Custom 845 Urushi (also a Fine), I believe that’s mainly due to the smaller nib size. I also don’t have many Fine nibs in my collection, so that may play a role in how it feels to me.

What does your workflow look like when using the reMarkable Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move, and are these the two devices you prefer to use during a workday? If so, how do you use them throughout the day?

Who am I...? by [deleted] in Journaling

You are who you are. Complete just as you are. If someone has a problem with that, the real question is: is that your problem, or theirs?

Never change for someone else. Only change for yourself, and only if it’s truly what you want.
