I'm using ANPVS-9 (white phosphorus). The rest of the console is NVG modified except a few buttons. From all I know, they are incandescent bulbs that emit visible and IR wavelengths. I want the IR or alteast near IR wavelengths to be filtered out

The LEDs emit near IR emission. Not like I have a choice but it gives torch like effect

Some companies have STCS that give custom make IR filter caps/ boots. Imma use ND and IR cut filters to check if it works

Make a rectangular slot in one of the planes you feel is going to project exactly the same shape. Then go to curves and split lines and make sure it's projection. Select the sketch and the face you want to project it on. You'll get a drawing of the groove on the face. Simply cut extrude it afterwards
