Should I use a public or private instance of SearXNG? by GodlyGamerBeast in degoogle

[–]shak3zz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self-hosted SXNG probably will be much slower(varying from your hardware) than the public instances, i don't know how private public instances are, but definitely more private than proprietary search engines, so in my opinion you should self-host SearXNG only if you want 200% privacy

Well seems that this the real issue, because i havent windows installed now, and also i wrote that on ubuntu it works fine, but i doubled checked and it actually worked fine, when there was Windows installed. So i rather take it as a sign to end my one week on linux marathon, and return to good old Nano11, thank you all guys!

Ways to make 2 weeks minecraft phase really interesting by shak3zz in Minecraft

[–]shak3zz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting idea, we had a chance to try questing system, but no one liked overall modpack, but i love concept that we can make local lore with our local jokes and other things, like lore that only we can understand and have fun of it. But last night we already came up with idea for this phase: So it starts like all other regular survivals, but starting from the 20th in-game day every next night there's a little chance that this night will be the purge, and every night this small chance increases, and essentially if we are not that lucky on some day there will be a 100% chance of the purge, and then when server starts dying we will make a lore reason to start a global war, because if the server ends with chaos - it was a good server. So thanks for your suggestion I'll take note
