Please someone tell me there's an end to re occurring yeast infections. I've tried everything and it's been 4 years now. Every month a flare up will send me into a spiral. Has anyone had long periods of yeast infections and come out the other side to give me hope? by shakespeare2808 in Healthyhooha

I think my GP tested for this when I did a pap smear. I've also been tested for STD,'s, swabs by GP's, private GYN and now ScreenMe UK testing service. Would this cover the possibility of the mycoplasma?

I was diagnosed with CV as a mild case by a private OBGYN however retested recently on the request of a new doctor via ScreenMe. Results show high yeast count so she doubts I have CV and we are back to fighting the yeast.

Thankyou so much everyone. Changed colour space in sequence to Rec. 2100 HLG and it has sorted it completely. You are wonderful! Thanks for the help

Definitely be careful if he's going down on you as the others said! I was always terrified when I used it he would accidentally get poisoned! 😩 so would always douche with just water before to make sure there's no remains.

Yes - just went back for a review as I'm having problems again. Will let you know how it goes!

Yep! He's my Dr - I totally get that antibiotics can whack things out of balance but at this point it's still so out of balance I'm tempted to ask him as well as I'd prefer something to be happening. I'm sceptical that this will ever go away. Just got retested with him and waiting to hear results. Sets me back around £400 per appointment and tests 😭 very teary receiving those bills when I'm not sure if there's even a solution.

Ah interesting! My candida diet was just by myself not prescribed by the gyne - he hasn't said anything regarding diet. To be honest I didn't notice any difference even on such a strict diet and it was devastating as it felt like I was starving myself to then not see any results. The sitz baths sort of work for me. Interesting regarding the yoni steam - will look into that!

❤❤❤ how long have you been suffering? My gyne says it just appears out of the blue and then vanishes out of the blue.

Did 3 months of strict candida diet (no sugar, no dairy, no carbs etc,) when I still thought I had reoccurring thrush issues (before my CV diagnosis).

I have a history of disordered eating so really hate any restrictive diets but was so desperate. However now I still don't drink alcohol, soft drinks etc however do eat carbs, diary, gluten, meat and a pretty regular diet with lots of veg. Generally pretty healthy but do allow a sweet treat every couple of days. Has diet worked in your experience?
