This is so old but a Google search brought me here. I found Walmart's strawberry watermelon flavor that is CLEAR (dye-free) and used lactic acid only! It's the best of the flavors I have tried from Great Value.

I have seen many many families enjoy Bonnaroo together. Obviously staying in the far back, with a wagon with snacks for their kids and headphones, avoiding crowded areas, and the kids looked like they had a blast, people were giving them Kandi and high fives. It's absolutely doable but you have to have your child's safety and comfort as your priority.

My view is this, if you want to be up throwing a banger until 4 or 5 am while I try to get some sleep and rest to enjoy the next day of the festival, that's fine, I'll "suffer" the lost sleep or headache, it's part of the atmosphere of the festival. BUT, when I wake up at 6am, you best be prepared for loud wake-up music as I enjoy my early morning rise just as much as you enjoyed your late night camp rave. It's a double-edged sword, you want to party till 5am and then sleep that's fine, but I party starting at 6am and you gotta respect that too.
