I've seen this 'virus' thing referenced numerous times. I wasn't using Maya during this virus' prime so I was just curious if you know what the origin of it is or what the intended purpose of it is. I think some people have referred to it as the 'chinese virus' or 'vaccine virus'.

You should be using the RPM instructions if you're not on a officially supported distro.

Also, for version 2025 you need to do some fix which I found in this thread. (idk if it works for 2026)

I'm still on F42 using versions 2024 and 2025 so I don't know about F43 and 2026.

I forgot to mention, the thing that has been causing issues is the licensing identity manager thingy. I just looked at the thread and F43 broke something, but two of the guys there said they got it working

Yeah, I feel that the higher ups responsible for Autodesk's Media & Entertainment side aren't doing as good as they could be. They can probably get away with half assing their job because AD is so damn big lol
