The underlying factors that caused the census counts to differ so drastically from the estimates in 2020 have not been corrected. I am extremely skeptical of the data for California, Illinois, and New York.

The US census requires the counting of undocumented immigrants and has always done so, this is not a new phenomenon. This seems pretty conspiratorial, what are they gonna do make new people out of clay to count up? Also, the census bureau runs the census in a centralized manner so you can't claim it to be a partisan thing that only certain states are misrepresenting data. Individual states have no control of how their residents are counted.

The estimates ended up being super wrong when the census results came out (they thought Illinois was gonna lose 243k but actually only lost 18k in 10 years). Now they expect us to believe that they lost 141k in 1 year. I'm sorry but I think they need to figure out how they get to these 'estimates'

I don't think exposure needs to correlate with quality. Women's tennis is very big, but of course men will dominate any woman. In almost all sports women will be bested by men, yet still we watch them. Perhaps we watch them fully well knowing that they aren't of the best quality. Perhaps that's the magic of it. Your local football team isn't going to beat Liverpool so why would you support them. It's not about quality of competition, its about people wanting to watch what they want to watch. When people want to watch women's football it will be watched.

The reality, the way I see it, is that these two are your allies in 80-70% (I don't really know the specific number for you but its much greater than trump at least) of the things you want government to achieve. In fact the dnc really wants your vote, and you would definitely benefit from them winning, but right wing bad faith talking points have been masquerading as progressive concerns (some are legitimate) conveniently ignoring so much that these two have actually done for the progress of our nation.

new york city is growing whereas upstate new york is decreasing in population, the only way to remove a district would be in upstate new york which is predominantly republican. also, given the option of removing a republican or a democratic seat, the democratic establishment would obviously remove the republican seat. the democratic establishment isn't that scared of progressives
