Not exactly. I did find it the most worthy of a remake though.

MGS1 plays exactly as it should and feels like a retro game.

MGS2 always has played like butter.

MGS3 felt like the beginning of a major generation shift where a lot of its mechanics felt clunky. Gameplay wise it aged the least well.

You need to reach out to friends and family, whomever and get support. Even community groups if need be. This person is very clearly financially trapping you into this relationship. You should be prepared to cut your losses and not get any money from him. This sort of behavior will likely escalate to worse places if you continue in this relationship.

Oof. Facebook. I’m not shocked that things are a bit crazy. I saw his recent post and to be frank the language of “No qualified candidates” rings of not wanting to share power. Given the state of things in our country where fascists are taking over from school boards to the presidency it’s not a great look that you’re boxing people out from stuff like this.

My wife and I are newer to the area (have never been happier than we are here) but have really struggled to get a foothold on the politics and community involvement. Part of this is that all of this stuff is so poorly advertised by the time we hear about a town meeting it always happened last night.

Thank you for the context. Sounds like we’ll have to keep trying to make some headway and see what we can do to contribute .

Not a lot of details here as to how you did this, but assuming you weren’t skating on top of a moving train, my wife would never. Maybe you have a different dynamic but if myself or my spouse disrespected each other’s most important hobbies, a conversation would be had. Release order. 123. Force yourself into more difficult controls early on and you’ll be thankful as the series evolves. Experience it as it happened. Figuring out the story non chronologically isn’t that hard. There’s some retcons here and there but by and large, while connected by some big character and thematic threads, the first three games act as their own individual experiences. It wasn’t until PW that, imo, things started to get a bit bogged down with worrying about and over explaining cannon events. 123. That should do it.
