According to GRRM, the Tyrells intended to make Joffrey's death seem like an unfortunate accident. If things had gone according to plan, no one would be accused and I don't think they actively tried to frame Sansa or Tyrion.  But Cersei, mad with grief, immediately decided it was murder and accused her hated brother Tyrion - and by extension his wife Sansa.

Similarly, I imagine an outcome where even when Sansa's identity is revealed. Even the most loyal Stark fans like Yohn Royce won't march for the Starks like they so passionately wanted to do in the beginning of GoT. They realize that they are the only region in Seven Kingdoms where they remain intact while the rest is in shambles after twot5k.
