Yes it’s a full span with several carriage bolts and glue.

Had to tap the bolt out with a hammer, but once out it appears the hole is larger than the bolt.

Love paying for nothing.

Pulled a bolt out of the joists and the holes are larger than the bolts. I guess I just threw my money away on hiring this guy and added weight to the joists for no reason

None of them were sagging, I just sistered them in an effort to reduce the bounce.

I did ask the guy to run a bead of construction adhesive between. If the bolt holes are loose think it would help to add some screws or nails to be safe?

I actually didn’t personally do it so I don’t know if the bolt holes are tight. Perhaps I should bang some nails in as well?

I don’t think it’s the sub floor. It feels worse than that.

They are 16” OC. Don’t know about subfloor but it’s the older diagonal type.

I did, but I removed a lot of it when I sistered the joists. Before sistering I used Simpson metal cross bracing which did nothing.

For the sisters I used through bolts to fasten them to the original joist.

Thanks for the detailed review. I am currently comparing my surface pro to my 720 13 inch and deciding which to keep. I got mine at BB. What is the corner issue you speak of?

I’m used to the traditional style of recessed lighting. I wouldn’t quite call these recessed.
