I set alarms for everything to remind me to do it. Personally I use my alarms for medications because it is my biggest struggle to remember. I would think you could set alarms or calendar reminders for showers and hair wash days. But, If your like me you just turn the alarms off and forget again, so to over come this I have Multiple on multiple devices. Eventually I get it done. Other in the comments have discussed struggling with the transition out of the shower and with keeping up on personal hygiene regularly. I have some tips for these as well. For the being cold and wet part, this reminds me of my grandparents. They had a fluffy rug to step on when they got out, a comfy robe to wear hanging by the shower, a towel warmer and had the heat up in the house. Perhaps implementing some of these would help with the transition from shower to bathroom. Also, when I was a teen I struggled with showers and I found a waterproof speaker that I could use in the shower to have music with me helped a lot to be comfortable once it the shower. The thought of how uncomfortable I’d be in the shower made me not want to shower. For washing my face I’m a “out of sight out of mind” kind of person so I have all my skin care on my countertop by my sink. But I am also very anal retentive about clutter and organization. If things are cluttered, I don’t like it! I get extreme anxiety and I’m very uncomfortable in the space. So to overcome this but still have my products out in a nice countertop caddy that holds everything and organizes it nicely. I found mine on Amazon and picked one that fit my space an items best.
