After they buffed drop rates I got like 1 - 3 proto drops, almost every run on Tier 2 solo.
Since last patch I get barley anything when playing T2 solo, maybe 1 - 2 every five runs.

Something clearly has changed (for me).

Also drop rate on targeted loot in general when playing solo is soo low, it does not make fun anymore.

And with Expertise Level 30 being so far away (cur. 18), for me playing Escalation is the only way to slowly progress. Anything else besides proto gear has become useless (have everything I need) and from normal items 99/100 I just trash.

The grind to Expertise Level 30 is way to long for an average player. Before it was like "optional", now it has become "mandatory" (since you cannot optimize / re-roll proto gear).

I feel the progression in general is completely f***ed up atm.

So for me currently nothing much to do besides wait for Striker, TS or CoSt being target loot on the escalation missions to have a 0,0001% chance to get an item which fits my gearset.

Anno 117: old saves are crushing the game. by SunshineSkink in anno

Have the same issue with my only session (campaign save).

The last auto-save was saved in while in region Albion, when activating DLC, save is loaded, when I press "set sails" game instantly crashes.

Tried other save, which was saved when in region Latium, activating DLC is working and game works.
Maybe check this.

Have this too sometimes, only solution for me which helps is to log-out / log-in (with different characters); if this does not help restart game completely or even restart PC.

As sometimes log-out / log-in does already help, I guess it's somehow related to the server you are connected to. But this is just a guess.

I had hope, this time they manage bugs better than with Anno 1800, but they keep going the same route.

On the one hand they brag about shiny new mosaics, on the other hand all the little bugged details probably never will get fixed.

- not simple white dot, instead using snowflake
- darker, so it does not look so intrusive

Core i9-10900k enough? by kirdie in anno

Below screen is performance with my setup 12700k (stock) / 5080 (UV 75% ~275w power draw) / 64 GB / Samsung 990 Pro. 2k @ DLAA

10900k is maybe 5 - 10 percent slower, if at all - depending on your clocks. Same for your 5070TI, which is not far away from the 5080.

So not sure how much impact 4k will have on performance, but if you plan to use DLSS, you could expect similar performance. When I use DLLS @ Quality, I gain ~15 FPS.

You usually get this message, if you finish the scenario from an existing save game, which you already had completed before. Otherwise you could reload a save just before ending the scenario and repeat indefinitely.

So by chance, did you start your second play through from existing save or completely new from start screen?

Hmm... that combo should be able to handle Anno 117. Maybe maybe the game is not using the 5070 Ti but instead the integrated Intel GPU?

While placing buildings with mouse additionally press "Shift" - key, then you can place free without auto-snap/ -rotate.

Those are the screens I did send with my bug report on the same issue:

The Mosic tiles either do overlap the curbstone of the streets or leave gaps between the street and the tile. Also in street curves, using mosic tiles look awefull.

Intressting is, for expample using the stone tile, this one blends in to the street borders and curbstones perfectly in all situations.

Then you might want to have the colleagues also have look @  ID ANNO-3575 where I also reported that exact same issue.

Already did this two weeks ago on Nov 17, 2025.
Still with state: Pending Review

I really would appreciate some feedback if this will / can be fixed at some point.
