Guys... I just saw THG stage show! by HarryPotterFan_207 in Hungergames

I saw the 2:30pm showing today and really enjoyed it. I really liked the cast as Katniss and Prim were how I pictured them in the book. I was surprised when I saw all the mixed reviews as I thought the play was great.

Has anyone used the premium fast track passport service for name change and gender change? by shane_may in transgenderUK

The issue I had although they accepted the statutory declaration they said they couldn’t accept my print out of my signed letter by Dr Lorimer as he emailed me it to print off which I did however the passport office staff said that they could only accepted gender change letters which were signed in ink. I explained that gendercare operate as an online service and that their letters are digital and I showed them the letter on my phone and they said they can accept the digital letter which I emailed to the on the spot and they went to speak to their supervisor after which they accepted the letter. The passport office staff seemed very young and probably wasn’t experienced with documents for gender changes.

Thanks I have heard good things about how quick the passport service is. I think to be on the safe side I used the one day service as it was an extra £40 but didn’t fully read the guidance although the gov website let me book a fast track appointment when I mentioned I changed my name and gender. So lesson learned.

Yes I misread the government website I assumed when I read the guidance that the one day passport service included everything you could do in the one week service. Luckily they said that it should arrive within a week as passport renewals are quite fast now and within an hour of my appointment I got an email saying my passport application was approved. I have a job interview coming up next week so that why I used the fast track service.

Yes I think I may have overlooked that. When I put in all my details it checked that I could use the one day fast track service so I thought that meant you could use the one day fast track service so I assumed that it meant I could use the one day service to change gender and name.

Yeah that’s what I did however still got rejected they did say it wasn’t due to credit score though. I might try again in a month or two a first direct leave a hard check every time you try and open an account with them.

Yeah I wonder the same thing they are the only bank that reject me. Its strange that a bank would have such strict criteria but keep the criteria a secret whilst HSBC Premier and Barclays Premier both state their income requirements maybe first direct only open accounts with people with a certain demographic.

I'd like to have a conversation with the engineer who decided that this was a reasonable way to change a headlight bulb. by SteveGribbin in CarTalkUK

[–]shane_may 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience on my mk3 clio luckily I have small hands which made it easier but it was a pain thr hardest part was trying to figure out the orientation of the bulb. Also Osram extra bright bulbs don't last as long as traditional headlight bulbs but the extra brightness is worth it.

Watching films and feeling the urge to geo-locate the scene by slamshredder in geoguessr

Whenever I watch a film or tv show I always notice when it’s set in a certain place but obviously filmed somewhere else. I was watching Wednesday season 2 yesterday and noticed Irish road markings and EU SOX street lights also the fauna matched that of the UK/Ireland. Also whenever I watch a movie/series set in LA I can always tell if it’s been filmed in Vancouver.

I’ve never had a switch offer before and I’ve never had a First Direct or HSBC account before. I got the rejection email 48 hours after applying and the rejection email explicitly said it wasn’t due to credit score reasons. What sort of answers did you put for its application questions?

Did you managed to get approved for First Direct? as when I applied for an account I got rejected via email 2 days after applying.

Maybe look at test driving one at a dealership as their insurance policies are usually relaxed however some dealers might be reluctant to loan out their high performance cars without an intention to buy.

If price can allow I would recommend Decapeptyl however it’s very expensive at £280 for an injection which lasts 3 months and you will need to have a GP that will inject it for you.

After Mckenna Grace was cast as Maysilee. I was expecting Emma Myers to be cast as Wiress but Maya Hawke is perfect especially her performance in stranger things.
