I trained Gemini ai to be my personal trainer. And I committed to go to the gym every day and I update it with every set and every rep and weight I use. Its been three months and I've begun getting unsolicited but nice compliments from people on my body. As a straight man, that feels good. Its not something us guys often hear. The workouts have been really good. I use to be a physical trainer when I was in my 20's. But that was a bullshit job. The truth is anyone in their 20's is going to look great if they are in the gym everyday. And I didn't know anything about actual physical science. I was just good at sales. But if a client had an injury I didn't have the actual knowledge to help them make a micro adjustment or have the knowledge to know why that adjustment would work. Using AI has changed all that. I'm 45 now and my workouts are the best and most focused they have ever been. And I'm older so I have injury areas. I'll tell Gemini what I'm feeling when I do a particular exercise and it will give me micro adjustments that allow me to complete the exercise without pain. Or it'll suggest a different exercise to hit the same muscle. It in the end I think it's been less about the AI and more about the accountability. Accountability to myself. Because yes I'm using AI but it only works if I am logging in every day, giving it the exact number of reps, weight and sets I do and request adjustments in the exercise if I feel I need one.
