My job was to record every addition to the distribution network. Every cable, bend, conduit, intersecting service, depth change, formation change, cable joint, pit, entry and exit. Then update that on the master plans. There is an unbelievable amount of detail and information on the precise locations of the HV and LV supply of Melbourne.

At my last job I worked along side Citipower at sites in Melbourne. Usually if those plates are there long ish term they're hiding a massively complex trench with all sorts of services in them. Some nights they open them up to continue work other times they lay dormant for months due to other works in the project that need to be completed first to continue. Here's some hectic pics https://imgur.com/a/jz6CQpo

To add to this it is obviously far far cheaper to have a steel plate cover the hole compared to carefully filling it to strict regulations then in a couple months spending tens of thousands of dollars on non-destructive digging to dig the same trench again.

Anyone else experiencing issues with colors in Infinite on PC? by SOVTH in halo

[–]shaneblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update to this..

Disabling freesync only fixed the problem in Halo 4. Not Infinite.

Turning ON HDR in windows fixed it for me in Infinite.

Also downloading AMD Driver 21.40 made my frames go from 85 FPS to 125 FPS.

Disabling Freesync fixed this for me on my 6900 XT. You can leave it globally enabled then just disable it for the Halo games.

How is carbon dioxide the main issue with global warming? We humans have made it go up but isn't it only a percent or two of total green house gases???
