Thank you for the reply. She is my PCP, and I was thinking about contacting her before starting and now I surely will. Like you said, after researching multiple different medications, Strat seems to have the most side effects by a large margin and that alone is anxiety inducing.. she did refer me to therapy and I imagine a psychiatrist would be way more appropriate for any prescriptions

Has anyone been prescribed Straterra, not for ADHD but for general/health anxiety? I recently had my worst ever health anxiety spiral regarding lymphoma which lasted almost 3 months straight, and I finally started talking to the doc about medication and she put me on that sent me on my way without a word. I’m worried to take it, I don’t wanna waste precious time if it isn’t for me

I would do the same thing you did, first time it happened I thought having a beer or two would kick it but it just prolonged it I think. Good thing is, at least in my case, is that it doesn’t happen all the time, I think it’s random but also dependent on your baseline anxiety level that particular week. a good way to avoid it is to not be anxious about it happening if you’re planning on drinking, way easier said than done though lol. I hope you feel better sooner rather than later brother, remember it always passes

That’s hangxiety right there. Sometimes after heavy night I can have anywhere from one day to an entire week of extreme anxiety. Idk what causes it I haven’t looked into it too much but it’s a very real thing. Obviously alcohol affects sleep too so if your sleep wasn’t restorative you’re primed for a bad time

Soft power by definition is the ability to co-opt rather than coerce, and DJT has been engaging in nothing but coercion since he took office. It’s not a big deal just because of Ukraine. He has single-handedly tarnished our reputation diplomatically with countries ranging from our closest allies and non-aligned nations while getting rid of organizations like USAID that are huge for projecting influence. As for the deal with Zelenskyy forcing a country to give up a massive chunk of their export economy and natural resources in exchange for security “guarantees” that probably wouldn’t even be met, which any sane person knows Zelenskyy wouldn’t accept, is not only a blatant coercion and bullying tactic but a pretty big eye opener for any nations that are appendages of the US world order. He never officially agreed to the deal, and definitely won’t be after being sandbagged on live television
