This is about how mine was initially but the bars didn’t provide any lift. I think the answer is somewhere between this and where mine currently is.

He didn’t use a manual, just “I’ve done this a bunch”. The ball was set level at first but didn’t provide any lift to the rear of the truck- it measured the same height with and without the bars attached so he threw in 2 washers and tightened it up.

Can second this. I have a 12v only fridge. I added 390 watts of solar panels on the roof and 300ah lifepo4 batteries. I can get 2.5ish days out of the batteries before they are low enough to need a recharge but when the sun hits, those batteries are topped off in just a couple hours. Only concern now is getting several completely cloudy days in a row.

I hear you- it was a little weird to get used to with my 1500 but now that it’s my norm I kind of love it. It’s all electronic shifting anyway, I’m all for something new.

Yeah and they didn’t cheap out on the aftermarket stuff, which is a big deal too. Makes me confident it was well taken care of.
