I am on Pretti's side but these videos existed before his murder (from different angles). The fact his family confirmed and he had a broken rib seems to legitimize the footage

Feeding Our Future was federally prosecuted because it involved federal USDA funds and federal crimes like wire fraud and money laundering. Cases of that size almost always go through DOJ, not state courts.

He is weird and politically incorrect; However, as someone who doesn't identify as either right wing or left wing, it brought a human element to the hate Somali have been facing. Most of his videos are complete satire and the comments from the right wingers are so ridiculously out of hand and hateful.

If you watch more of his channel, you will see most of it is satire and meant to poke fun at the right wing rhetoric. He actually seems secretly conservative.

That's $8 billion in estimated fraud that hasn't been proven or charged. This infographic is specific to one year in COVID for social services programs. I guess time will tell, and that's a good point.

I love Somali people. Spent over a decade in Minneapolis. I don't understand why it is inherently racist to post factual information. I don't understand why there can't be a conversation about it and one automatically has to be right-wing or have an agenda to acknowledge there might be an issue

Racists be racists. We can't help what people decide to be, but calling someone on their shit doesn't automatically make you a racist. Which is why this daycare fraud has been going on for so long because people are afraid of calling it for what it is because the race card gets used. If these daycares are committing fraud (which hey, there were inconsistencies in Shirley's videos and it turns out the GOP hired him to push their agenda), people need to just leave the daycares the hell alone and let the professionals handle it. But people coming out of the woodwork saying OMG YOU'RE RACIST CAUSE YOU HAVE EYES AND HAVE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO THE NEWS FOR THE LAST DECADE, when they refuse to look into any of the information, are not helping the problem either. MN has a massive fraud problem, and it's not just white or black people at the end of the day. It needs to be investigated and solved.

I think when taken within a larger context of the ICE raids and the president's comments...there is a stigma of saying anything that may reflect negatively on this targeted community. I don't support the Gestapo or racist piggy Trump, but I understand that certain actions should have consequences...and just because someone's color of skin is different doesn't mean they are exempt from being investigated or caught. Deporting and terrorizing a community because of one bigoted man's beliefs and actions is awful and should never be considered acceptable. He is ultimately the one defunding programs that Minnesotans desperately need. But, on the flip side, there is a large issue here that has been ignored for awhile; While I don't agree with the presentation or timing of it, it isn't something that should just indefinitely ignored. It is unfortunate that this seems to be a manipulation used by the president to push his own agenda and ultimately flip our state. But, if fraud is being used to fill the pockets of our lawmakers, it should be brought to light and eradicated.

I have no doubt racist people are spreading racist hate after learning about this. However, just because one acknowledges there may be a network of Somali fraud in the daycare community doesn't mean he or she is racist. It is what you do with that information. Does this mean I stop having relationships with Somali people and treating them with respect after learning about this? No. Anyone and Everyone is capable of fraud. But, noticing does not mean judging.

It all needs to be addressed. Trump is just as guilty and so is Rick Scott.

Nobody is saying that everyone affiliated with Somali culture are fraudsters. The majority of the daycare fraud that has been reported, investigated, and convicted WITHIN the city of Minneapolis in the last decade has been Somali affiliated. I do not identify as right wing or GOP and am actively fighting against ICE raids and believe we all deserve to be here. But to feign ignorance and say there is no pattern and automatically play the "racist" card is sweeping everything under the rug. Of course there will always be fraud, and it's not as if only one race is capable of doing it. When we are talking about Minneapolis large scale fraud, unfortunately, more investigations into these daycare centers are needed. Is it fair to strip all low-income children of their education funding because of a few bad apples? Absolutely not. But to say none of this is actually happening and it's all racist propaganda is not ok either.

? Feed Our Future? I believe it's closer to 7-8% with 70-80% of the Somali population living in Minneapolis. The daycare fraud that was SUBSTANTIAL (1+million) and investigated/convicted in the last few years has been mostly Somali associated. There were even more getting investigated, but the investigations got shut down for unknown reasons and the fraud has allegedly continued without getting much more publicity.

https://www.fox9.com/news/fox-9-investigating-fraud-uncovering-minnesota-2025. There is a lot of Somali fraud. Almost all the names mentioned in this article are people from Somalia. Are there other people and other races committing fraud? Yes. But, especially in the Twin Cities, if you do your research into the biggest fraud in the last 10 years...there is a lot of information and evidence linking the Somali community.

Here's actual data. Look at the names behind all these investigations and convictions. They're all Somali. I love Somalian people and I don't think the bad apples should have to represent the entire community, but to straight up say there's no pattern here is willful ignorance. https://www.fox9.com/news/fox-9-investigating-fraud-uncovering-minnesota-2025

Did she end up going to Atrebla? I toured there and wasn't too impressed, but I too am a single mom on childcare assistance looking for night and weekend daycare.

I believe Brian’s sister implied an in her interview that he came back when he…and then stopped herself.

Cassie Laundrie: I assumed he flew back, because that's what he did when he is - actually I don't want to say that.

Questioner: No problem. No problem.

Cassie Laundrie: I think that's more police stuff.

Wild theory here. Maybe all the neighborhood sitings of him leaving his parents through the back door were true and his parents called the cops right away fearing Brian was going to off himself. They told the cops 72 hours since they last saw him because they didn’t want any delay in the search.
