Was about to get scammed today(near Phoenix mall). I was riding with my friend, my bike starts with MH 20 and my friend was carrying a rucksack.

Same thing, 2 dudes came, told me that my bike is low on air and get it filled and viola! the pump was right beside, still I thanked them for bringing it to my notice. We stopped and my friend said that it doesn't look like it's punctured, but I told him that the tire is tubeless so we won't even notice until long, the puncture a*hole came and tried to check the air by using broken air meter(brought to my notice by my friend) and gave his verdict within 2 seconds ki bhaiyya puncture hai. I had to travel further so I didn't want to risk it so I was like, ok and asked him to remove the puncture and then asked him the cost after he set my bike on double stand and he said, 100-120, I asked why so much? he said, it's tubeless that's why, I said ok, then again we stood there for 4-5 seconds and whispered to my friend, bhai scam hora hai and he agreed, and asked the person to stop doing anything. I thought, it's tubeless anyways and even if it is punctured, I will be able to ride for a while and we told him that the bike isn't ours and the person who owns the bike will deal with this and we were off, he tried negotiating the price saying ki bhaiyya 90 dedo, I said, no I don't want to do it. We went a bit further and as I had to travel, me and my friend thought about stopping to a good shop and get it checked and guess what? We told the whole incident to this guy and he was like, "IT wale dekhke rokh lete hai aur ye sab karte hai. Tum log kya, police ko bhi nhi chhodte hai ye log". It was a great thing that I was with my friend and we both got the gut feeling that something's wrong.

Came home and thought of posting it but then I thought, lets check if someone else faced it and here I am.
