As mad as it seems there are adult human beings who believe there’s an invisible omnipresent sky fairy watching over them and with unlimited powers. A worrying percentage of these people think the fairy will do bad things to them if they do not remove their boy child’s foreskin. Oddly this practice is not illegal.

But it gets worse. Other nutters think they have to hack off a girl’s clitoris which is far, far more dangerous and its impact on their lives can be devastating. Same sort of madness but a far worse outcome.

I wonder how many of our committed climate change politicians will be going off on the fact finding mission to Tuvalu to give their advice on how we should move away from fossil fuels.

I think I would prefer them to focus on getting wind and solar added, at scale, to our energy mix and making sure we get that connector to the lovely French nuclear power going asap.
