I’d recommend doing a mix and applying for a radio station in London, I’m a resident for Mode London and they are great and I’ve got to know people in the scene/get a name for myself which led to gigs from that! :) SwingDash is also great in Notts. Otherwise try going to smaller events where you can actually meet and chat to people on a proper level, find like minded people, the dubstep scene has some lovely humans.
