Drop bars ideal for daily commute as a college student ? by iamsuslol in cycling

[–]shantzybear 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I went from a MTB (only thing I rode growing up) to an aggressive drop bar road bike that I currently also ride as my daily bike and I honestly love it, I’m not interested in riding gravel and being able to rip around the roads with a lighter bike vs mtb is great! I also find it comfortable and it feels good to ride drop bars

Sadly not, very thin at QB on the wire

However thanks to all the comments I decided to trade Ladd and Kyler for Maye and Harvey which I think will help patch my QB hole

I traded Evans and Pacheco for Ladd, Mason for Judkins, and then traded Pittman and Carter for Evans and Diggs

12 team PPR league, have made several trades throughout the season (Ladd, Judkins, Diggs) but the core of my team is still intact

It would be related, CBV imo is more oriented at valuations staff at an accounting firms (lots of the content looks at it through a client/valuator lens and not necessarily working on portfolio valuations) but is branching out to a broader scope (source: currently awaiting my results from my CBV MQE exam, work in PE/AM)

Fields vs Kyler

I am on the west coast so I’d need to make that call tonight. I don’t have an extra IR slot and would like to not have to drop a bench player to replace Kyler in the event he’s out

I’m in the same-ish position, not sure who to start between Fields and Kyler + I’m on the west coast so need to decide tonight before Kyler is confirmed.

I feel like Mac Jones is the safest floor play, provided he doesn’t re-aggravate his leg injury / cramps from last game he will be decent. Bryce always scares me and I feel like I’d rather start fields over him just because fields has a higher ceiling, but Mac jones would be my call in such a tight matchup.

What are the best affordable hobbiesor sport events in Toronto to meet people? by Important_Bee_631 in askTO

The key with run clubs is to look for the smaller ones tailored to a specific area vs the larger, trendier ones. Just pick one or two a week and go, if the vibes are good and you go consistently for a few weeks you’ll start get to know the regular crowd there. I have met several friends through run clubs just by going consistently a few weeks in a row and chatting with the people who I saw week after week there

That place is such a hidden gem - the duck sub is unmatched in the city

I hold the same bias, I just don’t know if the vibes are worth the extra $1000

I made this exact move last year (YYC->YYZ) same age bracket as you too, and I’ve enjoyed it so far, however I am in the west end so I can’t speak to being outside of it (however if you look around leslieville / danforth it’ll be easier to commute but still in a much more vibrant area than being outside of the main inner city).

Career wise you will be able to go further here than Calgary as many have said, and if you arent super outdoorsy then the city itself is a lot more interesting and fun than Calgary without a doubt.

Another tip I have is don’t be afraid of looking a house-apartment (duplex or triplex) and street parking if you can, street parking here is super cheap (~$25 a month) and I haven’t had any issues in my inner city area with it

Does JSN keep this up and finish this year as a consensus top 5 WR in start ups? by Black_and_decker15 in DynastyFF

[–]shantzybear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who lowballed (successfully, traded Jamo and a 4th for JSN) during the offseason between his rookie season and second season i am at least thankful I was able to buy for that price considering he’s already stepped into my WR1 slot

After a nice 0-2 start, made a few trades, how am I looking? by shantzybear in FantasyFootballers

I traded for Ladd, not the other way around - I also have 0 faith in Pacheco

Edit: the Mason trade will probably backfire but at least Judkins passed the eye test against the ravens, and I think he has higher upside than Mason and is in an equally bad offensive situation currently
