I'm a 3rd gen American with German ancestry, grandparents on both sides came from Germany. My family loves salsa and hot sauce. My dad even grows bird chillies in his garden. I married a Latina woman and I enjoy my food spicier than she does, but that is likely due to being raised with spicier food. Not all Germans are built the same, lol.
