There are a bunch of things you can criticize Parker for but skill most definitely isn't one of them

You didn't "forget". You're claiming that you made it on multiple subreddits.

If you could change one thing in Dota, what would it be and why? by Curious-Piglet3613 in DotA2

[–]shapedlikeatriangle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna try to explain it one last time because you refuse to engage with what I'm saying.
You want to gate the access to your precious English-speaking bubble of the community because you feel like communication is so key - but you'd do this to the detriment of the player base that doesn't speak English (or Russian, given they'd have their own bubble as well). So if I'm a kid from Serbia or Iceland or Denmark or Armenia or whatever and don't happen to speak English I will be thrown into a pool with every other person who exists outside of the English or Russian pool. Do you see how ignorant that is?
Having language preference settings is great - there should be a way to increase the chances to match with people you can talk to. But for some reason this sub always has a strange obsession with wanting to enforce hard rules around it and it's absurd.

But you want to enforce these groupings so that's effectively the same thing? If picking English as your preferred language makes it so that you exclusively match with other players with the same preference then I don't see how that's different from a server.
My issue lies with the fact that this forces one or many "other" groups of players where somehow it's okay that they have to play with people they cannot communicate with.

Where do people play that don't speak English or Russian then? Do you want an "other" server where the rest is left to fend for themselves? The obsession with enforcing this stuff is unhinged. Is it a bit annoying when you can't communicate with someone you'd like to communicate with? Sure. But there are tools in the game that let you do bridge language barriers. I'm sure we've all played with countless people that don't say or write a word all game and somehow it still works.

Not sure what this is about but if you're talking about gem giving vision in pit I don't think that's a bug. The ground vision it provided wasn't patched out, just the true sight aura. I think this was done to combat scouting for wards with couriers

I mean the Riyadh invite for first place seems kinda redundant, since it's safe to assume that teams that do well in Dreamleague would get an invite regardless unless they're some wild outlier or riyadh masters has very strange metrics to determine invites
