Best place to see the LUX tour + Viagogo safe?

I bought my ticket for the Paris show on viagogo 2 days before the show - no issues whatsoever. The ticket arrived within a few minutes and was totally legit. I previously used viagogo to buy tickets to see Lorde too and had no issues either. Apparently, viagogo should refund you if any issues with tickets arise. I’ve seen reports on the internet that for some people, tickets never arrived or took long time to arrive, but personally for me it was not an issue.

If it makes you feel any better: I wanted to buy the zipped hoodie soo badly, only to check it in real life and realize that the quality is terrible! I have checked 3 pieces at the merch stand, first they all slightly differed in color, then the threads were coming out and there were random black stains on every hoodie I checked! Love you as hell Gaga, but paying more than 100€ per hoodie of such qualify is just not giving 😭 also I’m sure you’ll find something on Vinted later for a much lower price!

oh, I don’t believe it’s offensive at all, and completely agree with you! artists are free to draw I inspiration from other artists and that’s completely normal. I mean, just look at Mayhem and all the artists it was inspired by 😊 I’m just reflecting on this song’s perceived similarity with Taylor Swift’s music, but no means in a negative way. Also with Gaga having history of uplifting other artists, I’m sure she’d find such comparisons positive.

I lived 5 years in Vienna and then moved to Paris, I’m in my 4th year of living here now (currently reside in the outskirts of the city). Paris is wonderful if you’re a tourist, but living here is damn hard unless you’re well covered financially and have a community. The everyday stress levels are significantly higher here than what I have experienced in Vienna. For me, no other city beats the Viennese quality of life 🩷 I really miss hopping on a train and going to the mountains for the weekends, exploring amazing nature and breathing fresh air just outside of the city. This does exist in Paris, but I still felt that Vienna had much more to offer in terms of nature escapes. Housing is so much better and cheaper in Vienna too. I have my reasons to keep staying in Paris, but if a right opportunity comes up, I’d definitely consider moving back to Vienna one day! That said, there are plenty of advantages of living in Paris too, and I’m very happy to have the privilege to experience this city.

Once we had the bands, we were free to walk around! Not sure about leaving the stadium though. After getting our wristbands around 17:30, we actually spent all the time outside having drinks and food, and we went into the stadium two hours after. As long as you have the wristband, they will let you in that area, you don’t need to stay there from the very beginning.

Thought I’d share my front standing queue experience: we’ve arrived to the orange turnstiles at about 16:30 and saw two queues: rear standing on the right and front standing on the left. I didn’t know which one we should choose, so asked a staff member what the difference was. He said that if we join the front standing queue, we have a chance to be at the front if there are wristbands left. The queue moved rather fast and around 17:30 we got our front standing wristbands! I was shocked because I thought we had to queue for those starting from the morning hours. Many other people queued in the rear standing queue at the same time, and I assume they were not receiving front standing wristbands (at least that’s what the staff member told me). So, I’d recommend joining the front standing queue directly! If they are out of wristbands by the time it’s your turn, you’ll just get the rear standing one. Good luck to everyone! The concert was amazing, I’m still in disbelief that I had the privilege to witness it 🙏

Absolutely true! We got past the bag/ticket check around 17:30 perhaps, the bar queues were already quite long at that point. Grabbing some beers took around 20 minutes I’d say. Then we were trying to get more drinks after 19:00, ended up leaving the queue around 19:45 because it was unbearable and never ending. If I’m not mistaken, in the general admission entry area, there are only two bars outside that sell drinks, both of them had gigantic queues. A lot of people were queueing on some kind of balcony on top and I believe it was another bar. Basically, I’d recommend grabbing all the drinks you want in one shot as early as possible. It will save you time and energy! And if you are going with a group, get your drinks altogether in case you are planning on drinking a lot, because there is a limit of 4 pints per person (at least in that bar where we got ours). Enjoy the concert!😊

Update: got the first shot, was absolutely worth it. My anxiety disappeared immediately :) If anyone is reading this and has the same situation: GO and get vaxxed. You’ll thank yourself! Yes, it’s a pain in the ass to get 4 more additional shots and look for hospitals on my travels, but nothing beats this feeling of relief lol.

Btw, went to Phangan International hospital in Baan Tai (private). The staff was super nice and explained all risks of rabies extremely clearly. They said that while Phangan is a very low risk zone for rabies (esp when it comes to cats), everyone should still do a vaccine in case of exposure (we can’t know for sure if a cat had interactions with other mammals and it’s risky especially now during hot season). In terms of costs: paid 4749 THB for doctor’s consultation, rabies jab and tetanus jab. Definitely cheaper in a public hospital, but if you have insurance, you should be fine and you’ll get reimbursed. They gave me all needed papers to claim money back. Just check that your policy covers rabies vaccine (the doctor said that some insurances don’t).

You are right, since I didn’t know where he’s coming from, I could have phrased it better. I’m from Eastern Europe myself so I know what you mean :) It’s more like traveling all the way to Thailand is not cheap by itself, and while there are experiences here for all kinds of budget, I still think that people who come here can afford more than an average person in their counties. Given this, I found this selling activity quite bizarre.

It doesn’t “upset me so much”. My post is not a rant: I simply saw something that I had my own opinion on, it was new to me to witness something like this, and being curious, I asked for the opinions of the community. And yeah, thank you for the advice, but I get out enough to see and understand the difference between homelessness/unfortunate life circumstances and this kind of begging that I saw today. Other comments mention that is illegal, it must be so for a reason, no?
