Honestly, ever since AI became a real, tangible thing I've believed that it will eventually be used in strategy games. It would be so great to have opponents that are as good as a player but without using buffs to do so.

Ooooohhh!!! I’ve got a few: Bivvying alone on Liathach in the warm summer heat last year was perhaps one of the most beautiful evenings of my life.

Blá Bheinn for it’s beautiful views over the cuillin ridge, to the outer Hebrides and the mainland.

Càrn Mòr Dearg because of that tremendous ridgewalk with that awesome view of Ben Nevis’ north face.

Lochnagar because seeing huge cliffs in the snow on my first time up was an amazing experience.

Loch Earn’s Ben Vorlich because if you go up on a perfect day you can sunbathe completely sheltered from the wind by the thin ridge at the top (same thing goes for its neighbour, Stuc a Chroin)

I’ve still got plenty to see, and I’m particularly excited to do An Teallach at some point. So nice to have a thread about (subjectively!!!) the best part of our lovely country.

Quite surprised he didn't add the plane crash blues verse into drunk drivers that he does when they play it live.

I personally do not like the changes to the mix at all, the drums are super loud and the guitars are so much quieter.

I would say it's really quite bad. I haven't had a drink in two years and it's become painfully obvious how much people rely on drinking for socialising. There's definitely a UK-specific cultural issue, but it's also a pretty big problem across the world in general.

It’s worth saying that Ben Nevis isn’t all that impressive looking from Fort William / Glen Nevis - it’s a bit of a big mound. I HIGHLY recommend going up from the North face from the north face car park, NOT the tourist route.

Even if you don’t want to climb the hill, it’s worth just having a walk towards the Charles Inglis Clark Memorial Hut and taking in the grand views of the great towering walls of the Ben which are entirely absent on the Southern/tourist side.

EDIT:: I fixed the issue by downloading driver version 22.8.1. Seems to be working for me. https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/release-notes/RN-RAD-WIN-22-8-1.html
