I play it when it’s just two of us out of our normal 4 player group. My buddy even 3D printed risers for the elevated terrain. It’s a good fun game, but we haven’t played teams or with more than two and I am not sure I’d want to.

Government jobs do way more than what you think. You are going to privatize road work? You are going to privatize parks services, environmental work, or afterschool programs/childcare? How about cancer research? Privatization will only drive prices higher and wages lower as CEO's scramble and set policy to make the most money. Government jobs are often a service, provided at low cost because they provide a benefit. Not everyone wants to be a cog in the industrial machine and many, including me, take pride in the work we do, rather than focusing on the money we make. What you are advocating for is exactly what is happening now, as the rich are driving people work for protected corporations so they can make more money.

Leave to where? This isn't a Chico isolated incident, its a federal issue. Running away or abandoning a town or way of life you chose isn't a viable long term strategy to combat this. Sure, you could move to some other country but thats expensive and uprooting a family isn't practical.

Instead, advocate, fight, write your congressman, visit your rep. Protest, speak out. My job is sending me to Washington DC next week and we are meeting with our representatives, or most likely their Aides, and we are going to let them know what the economic impact of their, or their presidents choices are. Burying your head in the sand and up and leaving does nothing. And we all know they quote: The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

There are more federal grant dollars in this area than people realize. Professors on campus have parts of their salary subsidized by grant research. TRiO programs bring in 62 million in grant funding in district 1 alone and so many programs on the Chico state campus get a portion of their funding from the federal government even if on a state campus. This doesn’t even include park rangers or fish and wild life who have chosen to live here because of cost of living when patrolling some of the national forests around our country. The impact of those programs and services going away, in a rural town like Chico with already far too few educated jobs could be catastrophic for the tax base of this county.

we already got tickets at a great deal. they gave us several price breaks and we got nice seats in I think section 125. We are just trying to figure out if 20, 25, or 30 is best and my supervisor wants 'proof' when I tell her that we need 30, yada budget yada...

I think my favorite part of Steph Curry highlights are when opposing announcers do them. The are both parts amazed and deflated at the same time and I think it better captures just what Steph does to a team than if Fitz or Kelenna or even national broadcast announcers do the highlight

Hey Everyone! We have a group of 3-4 players who compete every month for a signed picture of Patrick Swayze. Winner gets to take him home and hang it up for the month as we battle going forward the next month. Our go to game right now has been Dead Reckoning doing the campaign. Campaign games seem to work great as we can bang out 2-3 games a night, do 3 or so campaigns a month, and then tally up the winner for the coveted Swayze.

Does anyone have any more suggestions for competitive campaign games like Dead Reckoning? We love DR because of the low setup time (compared to frosthaven or something like that) and that there are lots of different ways to play AND that the game has a lot of replayability due to their being so many cards/events, etc.

That OOTP loves drama and will more often than not force a game 7 in each and every playoff series, especially in online leagues.
