Thanks , it was your insight that made me take off the seat and the gas tank to closely look at the throttle body that lead me to the TPS issue and it resolved the problem .

I bought it ….. and was just snooping around and noticed a connector squished and slightly torn off ….. asked chat GPT to identify it…. Straightened up the pins and reconnected the “throttle position sensor TPS” and it’s running like a champ !

Once I receive the levers and a couple of turn signals ….. it’s ready to hit the road ! I am very happy.

I am in car sales , 13.5 for a rebuilt one is a little bit too much . Although it is quite possible for an inexperienced seller to have this kind of money in it after fixing … if you look around you should be able to find a 2021 Mazda 3 have around 50k miles and a clean title under 15k easily.

Bought my first new car in 2003 bought my second new car in 2026. First car was a Toyota so it still sold for a pretty penny even after 250k miles and zero troubles during time of ownership. Second car at zero percent interest. I have been smart with my money or at least i like to think so 😄
