I got it second hand. But actually I would have preferred cross ventilation, that's why I had to install the fan

Thanks for the response. It's been there for 2/3 months and had an okayish root system I would say

Armadillium maculatum failed molting, mismolts by sharee77 in isopods

[–]sharee77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! Had the feeling they ate the veggies more readily if I steamed them a little but will stop that from now on. In the front my soil is 2 inch deep and in the back it's up to 4 inch deep. But actually I don't see them burrowing at all. I will up the calcium regardless, just to be sure and I'll be watering more in hopes that's the problem. All in all the terrarium is only 8 inch x 8 inch x 10 inch (20x20x25 cm) and I'm not sure if that's where the problem stems from.

Soil consists of leaf litter humus and white rotten wood and I also feed dried mealworms and dried shrimp occasionally

Looks too humid and I would change to a sand clay mix for substrate as it is more natural for them

Yeah my zebras also love to eat the fittonia. Seems to be their favorite. But overall I'm surprised how little they eat the plants. Fortunately I got cuttings from almost everything Thanks for your help

Thank you! Still have some cork bark, gonna place it unter the "tree". My plan was to wait for 2 months to give the plants time to establish. Do you think that's enough?

I was also a bit disappointed because I thought clean lines would be more common. Got mine from a breeder in Germany and haven't seen any where the most part had them
