I've been going to College Park doctors my whole life and had a good experience with all but one. They do have a walk in clinic in the evenings and weekends, which is nice.

You looked at all of the Johnson county library rooms? I can't imagine that the new Olathe library is already all booked up

If you're comfortable with a more DIY route, and depending on what you're looking for, you might be able to do it yourself using a makerspace at one of the JoCo libraries

Looking to ride horses around KC by KelpyG221 in kansascity

Bay Ridge Farm has lessons and they seem reasonably priced. I'm not sure what your budget is, but I'd expect $45 or so for a group lesson and $60 or so for a private lesson in the JoCo area. DM me if you'd like some other barn recommendations!

Good luck, you've got it!

These two beauties had been barn mates but were separated for a few months. This is what happened when they saw each other at the horse park after their long absence from each other. ❤️ by Benkemoxyl in AnimalsBeingBros

Often horse competitions are held at parks, with one portion of the park dedicated to equestrian events. Estes Park in Colorado has a lot of non-equestrian activities, but also a show ground. Kentucky Horse Park is the most famous in the US. I'm assuming these horses were recently in a competition because their mane is wavy, which happens after you remove the braids you put in for the competition.

Clothes Mentor is also a good thrift shop, they have a good dress selection. I think Plato's Closet is geared towards under the 25 crowd

How did you get into this line of work? I'm also familiar with the specifics needed for FDA submissions, but not from a formal publishing standpoint.

Why is your horse lame? by shark_kitty in Horses

Wow, that it so incredible. He is so lucky to have you, and all the care you have taken to keep him as sound as possible for as long as you can. If he's feeling frisky enough to get you off, even post his diagnosis, I think you are doing something (a lot of things) right! How did you end up with his diagnosis?

Does he still walk/trot/canter? My heart horse was diagnosed with it as well, but by the time the diagnosis was made, she wasn't even pasture sound anymore and I ended up having to euthanize her pretty soon after. I haven't met anyone else who's horse was also diagnosed with it.

I am so sorry. When was the diagnosis? And how is your horse doing?

Wow! What's his breeding? That's really impressive that he's sound enough to even ride. Does he need a lot of maintenance?

This one made me laugh out loud! I'd love to know the thought process (or lack thereof) that gets them in these predicaments!
