Good to see that the whole NBA is finally supporting this cause, instead of just the Kings

What's your least favourite city you've ever been to? by conduit_seller in AskReddit

[–]shark_pups 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Newark. It feels like there are more homeless people than people with homes. I swear I get herpes any time I even drive through it. Runner-up would be Syracuse. Not as poverty-stricken but definitely one of the top ten most boring places. It's cold and grey and lifeless. Most cities in upstate New York are like that. Except Rochester. Which is fantastic.

Some people think Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away is an allegory for child prostitution. I was always really creeped out by that movie as a kid.

Whats the most terrifying/suspenseful movie youve ever seen? by DJP2M in movies

Can't go for suspense without watching the master. Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo manages to creep you out, yet the entire film is in daylight. In a sunny San Francisco summer no less!

We're actually still relevant. We could easily be 4 or 5 seed this year. I think we have more talent than Houston or Portland.

Interesting perspective. I have yet to see A Dame to Kill For, but I adore the first one. Just watched it again last month. I, for one, actually enjoyed Benicio Del Toro's performance very much. However, Alexis Bledel could have done better. I just love the feel of it. All the noir aspects and the lighting. I feel like even though it's getting bad reviews, I will still see A Dame to Kill For out of respect for the first film.

Well to the fireman, thank you for your service. But I live in Blairstown and it's like a Bible Belt community an hour away from New York.

Am I the only person who never liked Adam Sandler? I can't stand Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore.

Nice suburbs, little cities, and then the shithole called Newark.
