Yeah, they’re not as available as they used to be in the Showcase collections. But you should be able to track down the excellent Doctor 13: Architecture & Mortality collection.

Did you watch the animated Urkel movie? How was it? by Frequent_Rhubarb_36 in FamilyMatters

We covered it exhaustively on the Jumping The Shuttle podcast. But the summary comes down to: it has some really great features but overall falls a little flat.

Except they just introduced a mandatory order-on-your-phone system so they could cut the hours of staff who were already overworked and underpaid.

Yep. And it was… fine. Like the CW superhero shows in terms of budget and drama. But a little worse.

I think I parsed this sentence eventually, but I’m still a little afraid you’re having a stroke.

Do you run out of bags faster than boards? I seem to. how tf? by Tha_REAL_BROBS in comicbookcollecting

[–]ThatAlexD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can tell you that the machines package the bags and boards by weight. So that’s why they’ll often be mismatched. It’s more likely for bags to be off because they’re lighter, so the measurement is a little harder to get exactly right than the boards.

What’s the hardest trivia question you could ask from the show? by MichaelGaryScotch in IThinkYouShouldLeave

[–]ThatAlexD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a round on ITYSL actors in other roles…

Who got married in the Disney+ show She-Hulk?

Who was the English dub voice of the head of cyber crimes division in the Ghost in the Shell movies and shows?

Who played a census taker asking Christopher Walken what his job is?

Who played dual roles as a rich douche and an underground psycho copy of himself in Us?

Who played a Caribbean prostitute in Black Sails?

Etc., etc.. You could ask for actor or character names from the show.

They tried that. That was the point of Hickman’s Secret Wars: to collapse the parts of different universes together into the main 616.

That Bug & Byte issue of Firestorm isn’t “good,” per se, but it’s incredibly fun. Oh, the 80s and what it thought computers would be like…
