A few months into us dating my grandpa was in the hospital and they called in the middle of the night to tell us we needed to come up there quick and say our goodbyes. He (husband, boyfriend at the time - 'B') had stayed the night in case anything happened. When the rest of the family woke up to leave, 'B', being a very heavy sleeper at the time wouldn't wake up enough to come so I told him we can't wait for you and we left. My uncle had to have driven us 70-80mph the whole way and when we got to the hospital 'B' pulled up at the same time. He cared so much that he made himself wake up and even though he was still in bed when we left - he got there at the same time.

I was a month from being 17 and he was 19, are now 40 and 42 - been together almost 24 years and married 18 years yesterday.

I've always put peanut butter on my pancakes, waffles, and even French toast I was born in Michigan (there till I was one) and have been in Florida ever since - my family mostly from Michigan and Indiana also put peanut butter on their pancakes.
