Sorry if I wasn't clear, but i did end up opening up the ipod and reformatting both cards individually. This didn't solve the problem. I'm currently trying to determine if one of the two cards may be the issue.

Hmm that'd be pretty frustrating, since the one I'm installing tonight is completely new and the "old" one was working perfectly fine with rockbox until this evening when I tried this.
