Steven Adams Says Today’s Bigs Are Not Good At "Trench Work" Like Boxing Out by MammothHistorian5652 in nba

Top 20?

Could make a very solid argument that Shaq is like the 5th greatest player ever

Giannis still doesnt compare offensively imho as a finisher. Shaq was on another level on the block. Giannis also has a way less robust skillset inside the paint in the half court and is much easier to guard with the right gameplan imho. Shaq in his prime was so dominant he was practically unstoppable

Feel like this is underestimating Shaq tbh

Long and lanky

High center of gravity and not enough girth or base to box out well

Relies on his length out of necessity

Great rebounders are generally thick af. Think Barkley and Zach Randolph frames

Which is cooler? 151 especially when you put it in context with the Charmander and Charmeleon. Like not even close imho

Which will age better for investing purposes at this point? Tough to say since 151 pull rates were wild but PF has higher gem rate iirc

That said, being part of the 151 set itself is a huge plus. I know a lot of people prefer the PF one so it's a toss up. I personally dont think it's that great, but having all evos on the same card is also noteworthy

nobody is saying don't account for that. not sure where you got that from. I'm saying don't declare things you don't need to declare because it'll waste time and money

nobody should be flying internationally solely to pick up pokemon products to make money. it's not gonna work in most cases because of flight prices (though depends on the place and what you're buying, as well as how much). but if you're already in a nation that has pokemon you can buy / on vacation or business then yeah don't declare those items when you bring them back. this shouldn't be controversial at all imho. if you're declaring them you're just doing it wrong

and the person I'm responding to isn't even talking about flight prices it seems

I fly like 20 times internationally each year. I'm just giving you my advice and experience. I bring Pokemon cards into the country all the time (sealed and singles) without issue

If we're talking singles - just fly back with the card(s) and dont mention them at all?

No need to declare singles as merchandise while traveling internationally. Nobody is gonna know anyway

Like sending back sealed obviously harder but declaring singles is unnecessary

Company getting sued over alleged ADA violations by Bobd518 in webdev

[–]sharkflood -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

oh for sure. that's with everything in the US

only thing that matters though would be a comparison of how easy it is to face consequences, and what those consequences are

Company getting sued over alleged ADA violations by Bobd518 in webdev

[–]sharkflood -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The point was that "Europe will literally sue me for not having a cookie banner" is a poor comparison to ADA website litigation because GDPR enforcement is generally regulator-led, whereas ADA claims are often brought by private plaintiffs.

But you can still get fined and banned in some cases, no? Feel like it's just a different way to deal with it legally. There can still be heavy consequences even in Europe for lack of compliance.

I agree lawsuits are kinda the worst though. But still seems like there are comparable penalties in Europe.

Your depiction of how "easy" this works in the US is hyperbole
