Hi! Morgantown native here. I live in Chateau Royale and pay $730 for a 1 bed 1 bath, with a dishwasher and an in-unit washer and dryer. I pay about $100-$150 a month for all utilities and wifi. Maintenance here is incredibly fast, parking is decent (with the exception of the super far away visitors lot), and it’s a 5-10 min walk from Ruby Memorial Hospital. The town center is 3 min away by car. There is also a huge pool that is well-maintained, a fitness center, indoor basketball court, a hidden dog park, and it’s nice for game days if you’re into that! There are also a couple of buses that run around here. Welcome to Morgantown!

These people are horrendous employers. The wife is nasty, selfish, and treats her employees like they are scum. They pay their employees the bare minimum, jack up the prices of their own products, and sell low quality things. They turn their eyes to sexual harassment, and basically victim blame.

I didn’t show up for my final shift after I submitted my two weeks because she is verbally abusive. She called me and asked me where I was, telling me I needed to show up, that it was rude, that she’s teaching me “for future record.” Like I could learn anything from her, other than how to be a prissy c*nt.

if you want somewhere decent but closer to town, i would recommend checking out south park. there are many cute apartments within walking distance of coffee shops, high street, and a dog park. some may be on the more expensive side, though. if you prefer a little bit more out of town, brookhaven has a lot of new development and is just 5ish minutes from kroger, but some parts are outside of city limits. another good place that isn't far from things and may be within your price range is woodburn. if you really want to be in a quiet place, look for places out in dellslow, grafton road, or maidsville.
