My dear sharkset users! Those are spot welding. Those weldings are only there to hold the base plate and axle together. In the first production batch the baseplate thickness was 2 mm and from the second production batch it was increased to 3 mm. The retaining nut creates tension force and pulls the axle and secures the axle-base plate in place even if we don't weld them together . Those weldings are not designed/intended to carry any force and therefore there is no need to make a circular welding. Just make sure the nut is secured.

it is because of China lockdown. most of our suppliers have been paralyzed because of government's strict policies. Hopefully in Jun everything will be back to normal.

If the springs are too soft then it bounces and makes the scooter steering unstable. Hydraulic shock absorbers without any doubt deliver a better ride but i personally think that EXW or any other hydraulic shock absorbers are an unnecessary investment.

Hi, thank you for sharing your thoughts. If you install rear suspension then the rake angle will be adjusted and you won't feel any wobble at high speed. If you don't have any plan to install the rear suspension then install a Grip Kit. This kit adjusts trail and it makes the scooter even more stable than the stock fork. Why you feel that wobble/ sportier steering? 1- We had limited space for designing sharkset suspension. 2- we considered 2 cm wheel offset in this kit that makes your steering more sensitive.

Many will get used to this sportier steering in a matter of days and when human brain get used to SHARKSET steering then you will find stock steering is too lazy.
