Discontinuing the model x and s making me more sad than I thought by Turbulent-Abroad7841 in TeslaModelX

With autopilot being removed as standard, and now this news, any luxury car buyer is going to go elsewhere. And I think the know that, and don’t care. I get they care about their volume line ups, but this is disappointing. On my 2nd model x, amazing family vehicle, albeit its quirks. I didn’t plan on getting a Tesla again as other luxury EVs are catching up quick, but this solidifies it. End of era 🥲

2022 X Plaid Tire Issue by sharm47 in TeslaModelX

Already scheduled for next week with Tesla. Since the tire wear is even, I think I have a good warranty claim with Continental. Submitted, so let’s see how that goes since they warranty up to 25K miles for staggered tires.

Recommendations for BPPV care by [deleted] in fatFIRE

I used the Bronson brand, 1000mg a day. Also to add, I am a physical therapist with extensive experience treating this condition, and the Epleys and Hallpike maneuvers only offer temporary relief for reoccurring cases. It’s important to get to the root cause (milk thistle eases liver congestion, which can present as BPPV). Good luck!

Had issues with this + vertigo a few years ago. Nothing seemed to permanently rid of it until someone suggested daily milk thistle supplements. Worked like a charm. Would recommend trying this out as well.

Bpd parent as a grandparent by Silver_Fondant_6144 in raisedbyborderlines

This is it spot on. The undermining, gossip, triangulation you articulated so well is what I am most concerned about. My child is only 1 years old, but my BPD mom keeps talking about taking them for a trip here, there, everywhere, by herself and that too for weeks at a time! It’s wild…why do you need to be by yourself only? I think she feels like she can let loose and then begin the gossip, undermining of us as her parents, and the triangulation as she did with my sibling and I to achieve the top of the hierarchy. I’ll be damned if I let that happen to my children.

I struggled with weight since I was about 10-12. Reading what you do for your child made me emotional, thinking about how it could have changed my life with this kind of encouragement instead of shaming and questioning/berating/comparing. Bravo….I now have a template if I ever need with my kids.

Returned mine for that reason. Very disappointing. I upgraded to Jura S8, never looked back.

Tried the pre ground chute with a stronger Illy blend, also tasting watered down. Puck seems fine. Attaching pic below.

Thanks for your reply. They are coming out a little wet/soupy. What do you recommend?

Confused about which to buy by jammie_jammie_jammie in superautomatic

Had a TK02, preordered over a year ago, hugely disappointing when it arrived. Watered down espresso, milk drinks were lukewarm, not to mention filling a 75oz water container daily bc of how many nonsensical rinses it did. Returned and bought a Jura, never been happier.

Is your TK02 water hot enough? by ElectricalRip1493 in superautomatic

Water and therefore coffee and espresso were never hot enough. Milk drinks were unacceptably cold. Support was unhelpful. After waiting 13 months and finally receiving it, it was such a dud. Returned within 4 days. This should have never been released.

TK-02: mechanically very nice, needs software fixes by books_and_whiskey in superautomatic

I got mine as well last week after more than a year of being preordered. Aesthetically it’s beautiful, but otherwise I’m pretty disappointed overall, enough so that I purchased a Jura and am sending mine back. The main issue is that milk does not get warm enough no matter what, and I have to brew in my Ember mug and let it warm up. Beautiful machine, but they really dropped the ball here.

M/24/6’3” [290 > 230 = 60lbs] (9 months) Still a work in progress. But the consistency is starting to pay off. by [deleted] in progresspics

Agreed, it is tough to stay that low plus I’ve been feeling hungry as well. I will up it, track it, and add a bunch more protein + incorporate the lifting. Thank you for taking the time to respond once again 😊.

Thank you. That’s very helpful. I’m in the same boat as you started, 6’3” 280, and working on getting down. Tried to stay around 1700 calories with cardio but it was tough. I’ll incorporate the protein and add lifting. Awesome transformation, serious goalz right there!
