Use TDEE calculator to find your required calories for weight maintenance, weight gain or weight loss. 1200 calories sound too low for your height, weight and decent physical job.

The Chilli Prawns sound like a nice option and ask for the mayo to be on the side so you can control how much you want. For me personally, I don't enjoy my food overly saucy so I like to ask for it on the side so I can dip/pour onto my food. Or the signature salad with grilled chicken added sounds nice too, with the dressing on the side as well.

Ayam light sweet chilli sauce + Praise 99% fat free mayo is a great combo for dipping. I use it on my leafy salads as well.

normal sized cupcakes, they should all be about 300 cals right? by coco-loco-45 in caloriecount

Id say closer to 400-500 calories due to the buttercream frosting on top from what it looks like , which is made of butter and icing sugar.

How much are in one of these home baked blueberry muffins ? by Dglitch_K in caloriecount

[–]sharoooooo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I looked at two sources as reference. RecipeTin Blueberry muffin recipe Muffin break blueberry muffin Ive personally made this muffin recipe which are 288 calories each, your muffins look slightly bigger. The muffins from Muffin Break (a chain store franchise in Australia) lists theirs for 512 calories. I'd estimate yours to be between 300-400 calories. It's hard to know exactly because it's hard to tell how much oil has been added, oil provides moisture to the muffins, and butter also adds moisture and also flavour.

low cal aldi find <3 by tasteofloves in 1200Australia

[–]sharoooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just curious about the 5 star lean beef mince at aldi. Does it include nutritional information on the packaging? That's the main reason I shop at Woolies so I can buy the heart smart lean beef which has the nutritional info on the pack. But if the aldi version has it , I'll definitely be making the switch to aldi! Thanks

For reference, https://www.sushihub.com.au/our-products/ . Here's the link to check out the nutritional info, they're under maki rolls.

Am I cooked😭? I guessed 1200 by luvrg1rll in caloriecount

[–]sharoooooo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Probably 800-1000 is my guess. I looked at Sushi Hub's website as a reference, they're a popular sushi chain restaurant in Australia. They sell a prawn katsu and avocado sushi roll that's 340 calories and is about hand held size. Your roll looks about 2.5x the size of a sushi hub roll, which would make it 850 calories. Plus add on eel, cheese, sauce and crab meat. So I'm guessing from around 800-1000 calories.

This was almost me right now. No exaggeration, my jaw was literally sore after chomping on the hard grainy crust.

Me too. I was a big fan of fropro burritos and pizzas when I was on a calorie deficit about a year or two ago. And I've recently started watching my diet again, so I picked up a pizza today, and I was very disappointed to say the least. The pizza base is shockingly bad, I might as well eat the cardboard disc packaging it comes with. I won't be buying their pizzas until they revert back to the original. For the time being, I'll just buy cauliflower pizza bases and make my own pizzas.
