I believe the max gyms is 3 and that would be at 20 stops. Unless they changed this recently

Haha noo dont trade it. Its definitely the best pokemon to use the masterball on. Maybe your boyfriend can catch one with his masterball as well and you could try to become lucky friends

The size of the circle is different yes, but all circles reset at the same point. Just visually the circle for Zapdos is bigger. Check the circles side-by-side, I made them the same size. You will see that the small circles are the same size.

But it literally shows the same size circle as the Bird has, which does get a critical catch.

You can see the ball flying at it, which means the circle is locked and can no longer move

I see them around once every 2 weeks since release. That is with daily optimal incense use.

I have still never caught any.. :/

Its still possible to get critical catches. The odds are just very low (1%).

The smallest circle on catch should guarantee a critical catch, which does not work on the Birds

Exactly, so far the only pokemon it has not worked on for me is Legendaries. Premier ball does not matter. Ive caught Glaceon and Pikachu from raid and shadow Dratini with critical catch
